2011年4月15日歐盟公報中發佈新法規（EU）No 366/2011，將丙烯醯胺（Acrylamide, CAS 79-06-1）加入附錄17《危險物質的製造、販賣、使用限制》清單，增訂為第60項。法規中規定在2012年11月5日之後，不得在市場上販售含丙烯醯胺濃度超過0.1%的物質或混合物。


另外，在2011年3月3日，歐盟公告新法規(EU) No 207/2011，修訂REACH法規附錄17《危險物質的製造、販賣、使用限制》，將五溴聯苯醚（Pentabromodiphenyl ether）及全氟辛烷磺酸（PFOS）予以刪除，並於公告後3日生效。


五溴聯苯醚與全氟辛烷磺酸現已被併入持久性有機污染物（Persistent Organic Pollutants；POPs）管制。2010年8月，歐盟法規（EU）No 757/2010即依斯德哥爾摩公約第四次締約國大會（COP4）決議，修訂法規（EC）No 850/2004 （POPs指令），將九種新的POPs 納入管理。


按：9種新的POPs 包括α-六氯環己烷（Alpha hexachlorocyclohexane）、β-六氯環己烷（Beta hexachlorocyclohexane）、六溴二苯醚及七溴二苯醚（Hexabromodiphenyl ether and heptabromodiphenyl ether）、四溴二苯醚及五溴二苯醚（Tetrabromodiphenyl ether and pentabromodiphenyl ether）、十氯酮（克敵康，Chlordecone）、六溴聯苯（Hexabromobiphenyl）、靈丹（Lindane）、五氯苯（Pentachlorobenzene）、全氟辛烷磺酸及其鹽類和全氟辛基磺醯氟（Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid, its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride，PFOS）。
